Questions agencies ask
Didn’t find your question? Dmytro answers personally.
Can you work white-label, under our agency’s name?
Yes. We build, you present. ROOKS works under your agency’s name, follows your client communication setup and hands over the project as your team’s work. Your client doesn’t need to know a development partner was involved.
Will you talk to our client?
Only if you want us to. We can join client calls when technical questions come up, or keep all communication within your team for a white-label build. You decide at the start, and we follow that setup for the whole project.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. We can sign your NDA before you share any confidential material, such as designs, briefs or access to client systems. NDA projects never appear on our site or in our portfolio.
What do you need from our designer to start?
The Figma layouts, responsive states, motion references and launch requirements. If something is still in progress, that’s fine: we review the design with your designer, agree on interactions and responsive behaviour, and flag anything that would be hard or costly to build before development starts.
How do you estimate a project, and how long does it take?
After reviewing the design, we define the technical scope, flag risks and give you an estimate with a timeline. Most projects take 2 to 13 weeks, depending on the number of templates, animation, CMS and integrations. You get the numbers before committing, so you can price the project for your client.
How do payments work?
Most projects are fixed price. We agree on the payment schedule together with the scope and timeline, so you can review all terms before committing. Changes to the scope during the project are estimated separately and only go ahead after you approve them.
Who owns the code?
Code ownership and any third-party licences are defined in the project agreement. For white-label work, this usually means the code is transferred to you or your client at handover. We review your requirements when we scope the work, so ownership is clear before the build starts.
Do we need a long-term contract?
No. You can try us on one project first and decide after. If it works for you, ROOKS can become your development team for every project, without you hiring one.
What happens after launch?
We hand over the project to you or straight to your client, with a guide for the team. The first month of support is included, and we reply within three days. Further improvements, new features or ongoing support are available on a paid basis, on terms we agree together.
